Hi, I'm Jakob Plotts!
I'm an experienced UI/UX designer, programmer, and digital artist working at the forefront of human interaction and technology. I have most recently worked as a UI/UX Designer at Jump Simulation (a part of OSF Healthcare) in Peoria IL where I have been designing innovative solutions to teaching STEAM concepts to pediatric patients in the hospital. I have also worked on a wide variety of design and development projects from web prototyping for Food For The Hungry to the innovative interactive exhibition event known as FUSE held by the highly regarded Interactive Media Department at Bradley University.
Since the day I first picked up a pencil and started to draw, I have known that I wanted to be a designer. Since then it's always been my goal to be able to design like the best of them. To this day, I persist on improving myself so that I might continue to inspire like the best of them.

I am based in the United States and I do a little bit of everything, but most of my work consists of User Interface and User Experience design as well as illustrative/abstract digital art. I have produced work for many local communities throughout central Illinois and my work has been displayed in various exhibitions such as FUSE held by the highly regarded Interactive Media Department at Bradley University (Peoria, IL) and the 2015 Illinois Community College Juried Exhibition, at Governors State University (Chicago, IL). I have a Bachelors degree in User Experience Design at Bradley University from their nationally acclaimed department of Interactive Media. I hope to further my education and career in the arts and in science in order to make an impact on the visual and interactive world that truly makes a difference.
